Smart Casual - OOTD

Hey Guys and Dolls,

.......A few blog post later and I really cant get enough of the "button up shirt" look, its also a great way to create layers and to stay warm during these cold and rainy days in London ='(. But on a brighter note this whole look was based on the new nike huaraches in nude (suede) and black. I'm not really a person that wears trainers much (unless I'm on my way to work) however! quiet a few trainers have caught my eyes recently and these are the latest addition to my wardrobe.

This look is a combination of smart (the coat, shirt and jumper) and casual (the trainers). I love the Kenzo bright orange see- through clutch bag which adds something different to the look.... I also received the clutch as a present from a great group of ladies (thank you my amazing DVF girls!!!).....  so check out the look below let me know what you think! x

Feeling GREY !!!

My first post for 2014 (well over due *hides face*) …….. so I guess what I should be saying is "HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR"  guys…

So this look was inspired by the weather we have been having in London lately, its been quite moody cold and rainy hence the Post title. I always find it easier putting a look together when its summer, I guess when its winter I prefer to be warm and I do tend to wear whatever  as I get cold easily (haha I sound like a granny 0_0 but its so00o true)….

This is what I came up with. I  LOVE combining feminine pieces (the skirt) with a masculine touch (leather jacket) I guess where I work has an influence on my style as it all about contradiction which I have a hugeeeeee  mini obsession with at the moment XD so please don't be surprised it you see my next couple blog post, of me wearing something random like trainers with a skirt 0_o …hmmm stay tuned =D.

The Statement Piece

Happy holidayssssS my friends!!! now that christmas is well and truly over  ='(  New Years is well on the way =). 2013 has been an interesting years for me in terms of getting to know myself deeper learning about life, changing over jobs. But starting up this blog has been a way for me to escape reality and also expressing what I love doing it has all been a blessing. I am grateful for the past year and truly excited for 2014 =D. Even though this is my last blog post for 2013 =( it surly wont be my last!!! so have a read below and check out the images hope you enjoy. =D

I recently received this stunning exclusive statement necklace (which I am in love with) from a new up and coming UK luxury jewellery label called "BURJU" this company specialises in beautifully hand crafted one-off necklaces made from Swarovski stones when I saw the necklace an instant look came to mind, so I paired my necklace with a crisp white high collar shirt and a navy blue jumper. I kept the look simple allowing the necklace to shine.

I really wanted to get a tartan piece into my wardrobe and this pencil skirt was ideal as it is a classic shape (with a sexy little split in the back) and the fun tartan print. I'm such a fan of that "pencil skirt with a jumper" look as its great for all occasions especially during the winter season, when you want to look fashionable but also keep warm =D.
check out the look below:

Festival Fever!!

Festival season is now coming to an end =( BUT!!  here is a late post of an outfit I wore to one of the festivals I attended this summer. I thought to myself let me keep it comfortable and casual don't go over the top I said to myself. I knew I wanted to have that vintage feel to the look hence the skirt and the plaited gold belt. I have had the belt for over 3 years and it's one of those pieces I have debated about throwing away, but some how it always end up back in my wardrobe, it will make an appearance in an outfit every once in a blue moon i really cant get rid of it haha!!. hope you guys like the look

Bearing in mind i do not usually go to festivals but i loved the whole atmosphere of festival life so will definitely be attending them more often, SOo bring on next year!!!

Stay Positive!

From China with Love xoxo

After an amazing day shopping at potobello Market (which is undeniable one of my favourite places to shop) i automatically feel inspired to create new looks and explore new style ideas every time i stroll through the market.

I brought a few one off vintage pieces which i love and cant wait to share with you all, but i also purchased some really cool retro blouses. I saw this vintage blouse (below) which was only £5 might i add =o and had to create a look based on the shirt alone. I feel it is always great to have a couple blouses in your wardrobe as they are so easy to wear. I tend to buy my blouses over sized as i feel a it looks cool and edgy  =D

I have to shout out Ingles store for the accessories, they have some great fashion forward products and at a reasonble price. So guys check their website out, you wont be disappointed. http://www.shopingles.bigcartel.com
